Adoniram R.A.M. Installation 31/3/26
 
Spring is always welcomed in by Adoniram R.A.M. Lodge, Installation meeting. The Lodge meets at Liverpool Masonic Hall and the Installation is on the last weekday of March, which this year was Tuesday 31st.

The principal guest for the evening was WBro Mike Pinckard, Assistant Provincial Grand Master. After the Worshipful Commander, WBro Peter Taaffe had opened the Lodge; the first item of business was an In Memoriam for Most Worshipful Bro John Herbert Prizeman, Pro Grand Master, who passed to higher service on 22nd January 2026, and WBro Tom Marlow who passed to higher service on 27th February. All stood in respect to departed merit.

With the minutes out of the way there was a successful ballot for a joining member WBro Dave Roberts. WBro Peter Taaffe then placed his offices for the Installation ceremony before WBro Arthur Robinson presented the Commander Elect Bro Bob Povall for Installation. WBro Taaffe conducted a superb ceremony which was appreciated by all. Once all the officers had been appointed,

WBro Derek Gaskell gave the address to the Worshipful Commander, before WBro Mike Pinckard gave an excellent presentation of the Exposition. With the ceremony over; WBro Mike Pinckard brought the congratulations of RW Keith Beardmore to WBro Bob Povall on taking the Chair of Adoniram R.A.M and he also congratulated WBro Peter Taaffe on a terrific ceremony.

It was then back to the summons and in the propositions, six, (6) joining members and two new members were proposed. This means that the Worshipful Commander will have some work to do at the next meeting which is on 28th October. However before that WBro Bob Povall will be representing the Lodge at Provincial Grand Mark Lodge which will be held on 15th April in Blackpool and at the R.A.M Assembly which will be held on 15th September at Westhoughton Masonic Hall. The Lodge also congratulated W.Bro’s, Steve Walls and Peter Taaffe on their pending promotion to PGJO. We wish WBro Bob Povall and Adoniram R.A.M. Lodge a happy and healthy year.
